The last few seasons of my life have been huge milestones in my walk of faith. When I was on the Race, spiritual awakening, reformation, and grounding were taking place. During the summer when I was back home after the Race, the themes were rest and assurance in all He’s redeemed and has for me. Throughout C.G.A. uprooting all toxicity and comfortable complacency in exchange for true equiptment, stewardship, and ownership of all God’s created me to be has been my main focus.
All of these seasons have been revolutionary for my walk with Christ, and yet before each one, I dealt with some serious anxiety for the changes to come. On the Race the Lord told me to hold each season with open hands because He has more in store and I can’t grab ahold of the next while holding onto the last one. Yet fear still takes ahold at the thought of ending this season of extreme growth in wisdom and discernment for a season thats fruit is unknown.
This morning the song “Seasons Change” by United Pursuit came on and I felt the Lord tugging at me to address the anxiety I’ve been allowing to grow for the past few days. The chorus says, “though the seasons change, Your love remains”. Today in class we talked about safety versus risk and how that looks in the truest sense of the freedom God has offered us. I am a huge fan of safety and security in all ways, and He really opened my eyes to the beauty and transforming power that risk and change hold. For all of you who may not know, I have a tattoo on my ankle of the constellation the big dipper because I’ve always been able to decipher it out of all the stars and it reminds me of God’s constantness. That song brought me back to the security of God’s consistency in His character and dismantled any fear or anxiety I was carrying.
Seasons will continue to change until the Lord’s day, as He promised all the earth and its inhabitants in Genesis 8:22. Seasons are a blessing because they each bring different things necessary for the continued cultivation of growth, providence, and abundance. So as the earth’s physical seasons change right now, I want to encourage you all to ask the Lord what season you’re in and/or about to enter and discover what He has for you and His Kingdom in it. Trust that He’ll tell you what He has, for He has called us friends!!(John 15:12-16)

Also the final deadline for being fully fundraised is this coming Monday and I currently am shy of the goal by $1,167! If I’m not fully funded(or the donations are processing to fund) by Tuesday morning I will have to miss a class every week to spend time fundraising so I would LOVE for any and everyone of you to pray about how much or in what way you could support me in this final leg of my time here!!! Thank you all for listening and I pray for open eyes and ears to hear what God is saying to all of you in this time!!!
